Optus Data Breach ‑ no impact to members

Super SA is aware of the recent Optus Data Breach and can confirm this does not impact Super SA member accounts.

The security of our members’ accounts is of utmost importance to us and as a Super SA member we want to reassure you of the security processes we have in place that keep your details and personal data safe.

Super SA members' personal information is protected by a security framework with data stored within the SA Government's Department of Treasury secure servers. Super SA has identified check procedures in place for members to access their accounts (including two-factor authentication for online access) to protect personal information. If you are concerned about the impact of this recent breach, including mitigation steps, we recommend that members refer to the Optus/IDCare website for current and former Optus customers who have been impacted.
