The following information outlines the Super SA policy relating to the privacy and security of your personal and other information when you visit the Super SA website. This privacy and security statement applies only to the Super SA website, including the secure member area and My Future.

Super SA site administrators protect and handle your personal information in accordance with the IPP, and your personal information will not be disclosed to a third party, except in accordance with the Disclosure of Personal Information principle outlined in the IPP.

Super SA is responsible for the privacy and security of information while it is collected, stored or passing through the Super SA website. Other Government of South Australia Agencies and Instrumentalities are responsible for the privacy and security of information collected, stored or passing through their own websites.

Session information collection

Users visiting the Super SA website will have the following information collected during each session that they visit the Super SA website:

1. Log file data including - Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referrers, entry pages, exit pages, navigation paths, operating system type, date & time stamp and geographic reports. This log file data is not linked to personally identifiable information.
2. When you log into the secure members only areas of the website (My Account and My Future), your Super Identification number and which pages you visit are recorded. This information is used for statistical analysis to assist Super SA to provide better services to you.
3. Outside of information that you enter on the website, Super SA also receives and stores certain types of information relating to your activity. This is provided through the use of Cookies.

What are Cookies?

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that are placed on your computer's hard drive through your web browser.

You can advise Super SA of your email address through the member area or email Super SA to request that your email address be added to your file. Super SA may then send you newsletters and information about new products and initiatives that may be of particular interest to you. Super SA will not use your email address for any other purpose and will not disclose it without your consent.
