Frontier Software cyber security incident: updated

10 December 2021
The South Australian Government was recently informed by its external payroll software provider, Frontier Software, that it was the victim of a cyber security incident. Super SA is aware of this incident and has immediately applied additional security controls and checks to further protect member accounts.

Strengthening the security of your Super SA account

If you are working in the public sector you may have received emails from the government with details of the incident and steps you can take to reduce the risk of fraudulent activity.

At Super SA, we’re also taking additional steps

While we have strong controls in place to mitigate the risk of fraud, we have now applied additional security controls to further protect your account(s).

Here’s what you can expect when you contact us:

  • We may ask you additional questions to identify you as the account holder
  • We may send you a unique code to aid in identity authentication
  • We’ll ask if you want to set up a password that you can quote when you call Member Services in the future. (You can do this at any time, in person or over the phone).

Your member portal login is secure

Let us assure you that the Super SA member portal has not been impacted by the cyber-security incident. Your login details are held securely in a separate system.

To log in you will need your client ID (available on your annual statement) and current password.

When you log in, you can view your account(s) and check that your contact details are up to date.

For maximum protection of your personal information, we always recommend that you set a strong password.
