Scam Alert 2022

Super SA has been made aware of the following scams targeting our members:

9 September 2022: Super SA received reports of staff and members receiving fraudulent text messages claiming to be from Super SA’s Chief Executive. The intent of the fraudulent text message is usually to begin a dialogue and compel you to divulge personal information. Super SA’s Chief Executive would never directly contact members or staff without express consent. 

2 September 2022: Super SA has had reports of members receiving fraudulent phone calls, prompting recipients to disclose account information. This is a tactic by scammers to try and access your personal information and your account. If you are concerned that a call is not legitimate, hang up and call us on (08) 8214 7800 to ensure you’re talking with Super SA. 

29 July 2022: Some members have been contacted via telephone by scam callers claiming to be related to Super SA, seeking personal information. Do not provide details to these callers. 


21 July 2022: Some members have received fraudulent text messages, prompting recipients to click on an unsafe link. This is a tactic by scammers to try and access your personal information and is not a legitimate Super SA communication. If you receive a scam SMS, do not click on the link or reply to the sender and delete the message immediately.
