Unit prices are determined each business day
If you want to switch your investment option(s), you need to remember that the unit price applied to a switch will represent the market value of an investment option calculated after the switch is received.
A switch received before 5pm on a business day will be processed using unit prices available on the third business day following the date of receipt.
You can complete switches online through our online member portal.
When you or your employer make contributions into Super SA Select, the money (less any contributions tax) is used to purchase units, which are invested in assets to help your super grow.
When the fund launched on 1 January 2013 the unit price for both investment options commenced at $1.00. Over time these prices will vary. These prices will also determine how many units you are allocated when contributions are received. We will calculate your share of units by dividing the value of your funds when they are received by the unit price of your chosen investment option(s).
The unit prices are generally determined each business day in line with the performance of the investment option. Your super balance can be calculated by multiplying the number of units you have by the current unit price for your investment option.
You can find out how many units you have by checking your Investment Strategy in our online member portal.
Super SA Select commenced on 1 January 2013.
Super SA Select is a taxed fund and reports its investment earnings after tax.
Unit prices rise and fall over time and and it's important to realise that past performance is not an indicator of future performance.
