At Super SA, we encourage you to seek professional financial advice on your financial planning needs.

You can choose your own financial planner or you can take advantage of the commission free service available through Industry Fund Services. The financial planners at IFS can advise you about the options available to SA public sector employees.

If you’re looking for detailed advice, Industry Fund Services (IFS) can help you with a wide range of issues, including:

  • Superannuation and retirement planning
  • Taxation and insurance
  • Managed funds
  • Estate planning
  • Debt consolidation and reduction
  • Investment strategies and wealth creation

IFS financial planners charge a fixed up front fee for their service and don’t accept commissions so there are no hidden costs. If you would like to talk to Industry Fund Services, call them on 1300 162 348 to make an appointment.

The first interview is free and if you decide not to proceed with a plan, there’s no cost to you. No advice will be given at your first interview as it’s a fact-finding appointment. If you decide to arrange a second appointment, you can request to pay the fee directly from your Triple S or Flexible Rollover Product account.

Of course, you may wish to choose your own professional financial planner. If you need help you can contact the Financial Planning Association of Australia on 1300 626 393.

IFS planners are also involved in Super SA's Planning for Retirement and Post Retirement Product seminars, where they discuss some of the financial issues you need to consider and give some pointers on how to make the most of your income, minimise debt and make sound investments.
